Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure - structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving - tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids.
Swedish Massage - A combination of gliding strokes and gentle kneading of the tissues. Great for sore, overstressed muscles and wonderful for circulation.
Deep Tissue Massage - This massage technique uses a combination of slow strokes, deep pressure and Trigger-Point Therapy to reach deeper into the tissues.
Prenatal Massage - A massage designed specifically for Moms-to-be. Your body is going through big changes! Reduce stress, anxiety, swelling and muscle and joint aches. Increase blood flow to baby, oxygenate tissues and improve sleep.

Hot Stone Massage - This is deeply soothing to tired, overworked muscles and great for sore joints. Heat from polished Basalt Stones penetrates tissues on a deeper level combined with manual manipulation of tissues.
Cold Stone Migraine Relief - A holistic fusion of special forms of massage with cold stones, and aromatherapy to tackle your worst headache! This natural, yet powerful therapy uses a custom designed 45 minute treatment. In a harmonious therapeutic approach for all kinds of headache pain including, but not limited to migraine, sinus congestion due to allergies, tension headaches, TMJ, and cluster headaches. To help decrease pressure in dilated blood vessels, and cold marble stones are placed upon key headache points and the use of essential oils helps to relieve excess strain and tension in the scalp, head, neck and facial areas.
TMJ Treatment - Temporomandibular joint pain is usually referred to as TMJ. This pain can be the result of painful and inflamed muscles in the jaw area. TMJ can be linked to stress fractures, tension, tooth grinding or clenching and can be related to stress, etc. Our treatment focuses on relieving the pain in the jaw, head and neck areas associated with this disorder. We use trigger point release therapy, kneading, muscle stripping and compression to alleviate the pressure and tension you might be experiencing. A session typically last 40 minutes and can also include heat/cold therapy, and intra-oral massage (with gloves). Studies have shown that with treatment and self-care, clients experience much needed relief from pain and stress.
